Skepticalwalrus is dedicated to exploring the extraordinary in the mundane, the sacred in the profane, and the numinous that just might, or might not, lie within this material world that we inhabit.  A keen observation of our actions both individually and collectively as a human community might give us a few clues and perhaps shed some light on why we do the things that we do – from the ridiculous to the sublime.  In the end, we will probably be no closer to any kind of formula, solution or answer than our ancestors were.  Still, if the payoff is only a smile, then the effort was worth it.
